Science around District 126
Students in District 126 are engaged in a science curriculum grounded in the Illinois Learning Standards. Beginning in kindergarten there is an emphasis on developmentally appropriate experiences that enable students to understand science concepts through active learning using the scientific method. Students form hypotheses, make observations and predictions. They record their learning through age-appropriate reports in both writing and illustrations.
