My name is Dorothy Petrik-Simon. I have been teaching for 15 years. I have been part of the Hazelgreen family for 7 years. I enjoy being with my teaching friends and each one of the Hazelgreen students.

I graduated from Lewis University with my undergraduate in 2006. I majored in Elementary Education and minored in Psychology. I went back and received my Learning Behavior Specialist 1, also from Lewis University.

I am married to my husband who is my high-school sweetheart. We got married on the beach of Florida.  I have a daughter, Micalanie, who is full of energy and keeps me busy. Kegan is also full of energy and is on the move to keep up with his big sister. We have two dogs, Savanna and Flame. I enjoy warm cups of coffee, working out and spending time with my kids.
