Service Club

Depending on the Activity, Service Club meetings could happen every few weeks. Meetings usually occur during lunch, but some activities may take place in the evenings or on the weekends. It is important to pay attention to announcements and Google Classroom to see when Service Club is meeting!

Service Club starts in early to mid September and lasts through the school year.

Service Club is a club that is open to all students at Prairie Junior High. During the school year, students have the opportunity to help out fellow classmates, teachers, community organizations, and children around the world. Some of the activities include:

  • Helping out the Alsip Park District with their programs and events
  • Working with the Alsip Chamber of Commerce and their events
  • Collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House
  • Shoebox gifts
  • Canned Food Drive
  • Red Ribbon week

Service Club does a lot more than just the above activities – make sure to check it out! Mr. Dreisbach also welcomes new ideas of ways we can all work together to serve one another.
