About The School
Prairie Junior High was built in 1969 and services 7th and 8th grade students of all levels and needs. We have approximately 25 staff members that serve over 380 children.
Our day is comprised of a common core curriculum and 21st century skills. We have a 1:1 technology program in place. This allows our students to work to their full potential and have a continuous learning experience in school and at home.
Along with our rigorous and student focused academic programs, we have over 60 clubs, sports, and activities offered during and after the school day. This allows all students to be involved at Prairie as well as be a well rounded enthusiastic learners.
