Science Club

Science club members choose to be a part of at least one committee.  Committee that run during the year are recycling, apparel design (T-shirt/sweatshirts), after school experiments/labs, pet geckos, strategy game (Pandemic), Field Trip, and Earth Day.

In addition to committees, members have the opportunity to meet after school to do the experiments or competitions that are too big and too messy to complete in class.  Experiments we have done in the past include: Pepsi and Mentos explosion, building a working volcano, creating oobleck (also known as Gak or slime), and so much more!

Science club members will also take at least one field trip during the school year.  The past two years we experienced all that the Museum of Science and Industry and Shedd Aquarium has to offer!

Meets: Once a month during the 1st half of lunch.  We will also meet monthly after school to conduct cool experiments.  (Lunch meetings are mandatory; after school experiments are optional).  Listen for announcements during the morning assembly!

The first meeting will be the first week of school!
