Chess Club

This organization is sponsored by Chess Scholars.  The club runs for six weeks, beginning in April through May. The cost of the club is approximately $62.00.  It is open to grades K-6.  This includes the materials through Chess Scholars and a pizza party at the end.  Each session will consist of an interactive teaching period and guided practice time.  There is also a chess competition.  Students receive a participation medal and a chess keychain. Chess Scholars has been a club at Stony Creek since the 2010-2011 school year and is a huge success!
