5th Grade Beginning Band: 

This group consists of mainly 5th graders and other first year band students. Students learn the basics of playing their instrument, reading music, and performing with a group. 

6th Grade Band:

This group consists of mainly 6th graders. Students are learning intermediate techniques for their instruments, learning to read more advanced music, and improving their group performance skills.

PJH Band: 

This group consists mainly of 7th and 8th graders. Students learn advanced techniques on their instrument and within the group, while continuing to read more and more advanced music. Students are also involved with community performance throughout Alsip.
