Welcome to the start of a great school year!  I am very excited to be your child’s teacher.  I can’t wait to get to know the students, but I would like to tell you a little bit about myself.  This is my 3rd year teaching at Stony Creek Elementary School.  I grew up in Colombia and attended a private High School.  Then, I received my Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Caldas, Colombia in Modern Languages.  Soon after I graduated in 2007, I decided to move to Chicago. Currently, I live in Chicago with my husband, Stanley, my daughter, Luciana, and my son, Sebastian.  I enjoy reading, playing board games with my kids, going on vacations, completing word puzzles, cooking, and spending time with my family every time I can.

I believe in the growth and development of all students and I am very dedicated to making this a productive and enjoyable year for your child. I am sure that we will be able to conquer each and every one of the goals that we set as a group. Thanks to our hard work and good teamwork, we will achieve success. Remember, we are a team! Students, parents, teachers, and good communication are the keys to helping your children thrive. Your child's success, safety, and happiness is my top priority.
