Expert 21

Expert 21 is an inquiry-based Reading and Language Arts program that integrates writing and reading skills that align with common core. Each workshop focuses on an Expert Question that requires students to read critically and develop skills and metacognitive strategies to communicate their understanding. Technology is used to support our 21st Century learners and prepare them to be college and career ready.

Read 180

Read 180 Universal presents blended learning, use of technology and engaging small group learning, as proven means of accelerating instruction for our Read 180 students. This learning model incorporates three, 20 minute rotations of small group, student application (software), and independent reading. All three rotations use research-based routines that promote learning through comprehension activities, word and language work, and reading/writing components that build fluency and boost reading success.
