Hello, my name is Molly Lee and I teach science at Prairie Junior High School. I started teaching at PJH in 2010. I am certified to teach science, language arts, social science, ESL, and special education. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education (with a minor in general science) from Olivet Nazarene University in 2006, and my Masters of Education in Diverse Learning from Trinity International University in 2015.

I love teaching science and have always been interested in learning the intricacies of the world around me. I am also very passionate about teaching the next generation to care for our environment and preparing them to take part in its betterment. Science allows for a very hands-on curriculum, and I enjoy leading students through the process of discovering their world and engaging in problem-solving activities. Science is integrated into essentially every aspect of our daily lives, and my hope is that my students realize its importance for their future. I also enjoy reading and history, and science is a subject that lends itself to an interdisciplinary curriculum.

In addition to teaching science, I also lead You Be the Chemist club and poetry club, and I co-lead the talent show. I love that Prairie offers a wide-variety of activities to students so that everyone can find their niche. I believe it is vitally important for junior highers to be involved in their school and community and PJH focuses on the holistic education of our students.
