My name is Lisa Paloian and I am your child’s Math and/or Reading Resource teacher! I graduated from Illinois State University in May 2015 with a Bachelor Degree in Special Education. I have always had a passion in teaching and have been fortunate enough to begin my third year, here, at Stony Creek Elementary School. I believe in an open-door policy and am always available for you and your child, as well as if they have any siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles… anyone who is involved in your child’s education.

Fun Facts:
I love the beach! If I could be there all the time, I would… which is why Room B04 is decorated like my kind of paradise. I have a close-knit family. I have my mom, dad, an older brother, a younger brother, and my dog, Bella. I enjoy playing and watching hockey (Chicago Blackhawks), baseball (Chicago White Sox), and golf. Finally, I love to laugh, smile, and enjoy the life I have been blessed with!

Closing Thoughts:
I am really looking forward to this upcoming school year with you and your child! Every student learns differently. They deserve to explore the different ways their mind works and feel comfortable expressing their thought process. In the school environment, each and every student should feel important.  I want to be that person that that opens up many doors in their academic career at Stony Creek Elementary School. I am eager to share every little victory with you and your child.
