Hello! My name is Mrs. Ruetz. This is my 4th year teaching here at Stony Creek! I absolutely love teaching my silly, unique 5th graders. They bring so much joy and laughter to my life. 

I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education in 2015. I received my ESL Endorsement in 2017, my LBS1 endorsement in 2019 and I am working on my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at Lewis University. 

I grew up in Naperville IL, but currently live downtown Oak Park with my husband. I love to bake, I am always trying out new baking recipes. I love to travel, I will go anywhere and everywhere! I also love to complete DIY projects, sew, spend time with my friends and family, work out, and explore the city!

I am so excited for a great school year!
