I would like to welcome you to Prairie Junior High. Joining Prairie for 2 short years will be your pathway to a successful high school and life experience.
My name is Maureen Paulmeyer.
I am entering my 17th year as principal here. Over the years, I have seen many changes throughout education. One thing that remains constant is that schools need to serve as a safe, positive, and caring environment in order for the kids to be successful.
The 2024-25 school year welcomes our returning district students as well as those transferring in this year. We will focus on many things throughout the year, including academics, student social emotional well being, sports, clubs, and a plethora of other activities.
The key to being successful here is being here everyday . This will reduce student stress and anxiety as well as provide them each student with a well rounded junior high experience.
It is our goal to ensure that all our students have a successful, healthy, safe, and fun year!
