We are so excited to welcome you to the District 126 Early Childhood Center! We opened our center at the start of the 2019-20 School Year and have continued to expand each year! Our space features now features five classrooms for both blended and special education learning and a beautiful playground built specifically for preschool students. We also have two additional support rooms for sensory and gross motor activities, in addition to a very open hallway which is used as an additional learning space throughout the day.
Our space is wonderful, but our students, families and staff members who fill our halls are even better! We utilize Creative Curriculum in our blended learning rooms, as well as a modified version in our special education class to support our diverse learning needs. Our focus is to develop learners with a curiosity and love of education who can communicate, create, problem solve through play and developmentally appropriate activities during their time with us. We are also very proud to have been recognized once again as a Gold Circle of Quality Preschool Program by ExceleRate Illinois. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site and feel free to reach out with any questions!
Sincerely-
Gina M. Fiske-Early Childhood Coordinator
