I have been teaching in School District 126 since 2007. My first 14 years were at Stony Creek and then in 2021 I transferred to Lane.  My first year in my teaching career, I worked a Special Education resource teacher.  I taught third grade general education for 2 years and then I began ‘looping’ 2nd/3rd grade for two cycles.  In 2014, after seven wonderful years of teaching in the classroom, I transferred into a Physical Education teaching position.  Making this transition was the ‘best of both worlds’ for me since it combines two of my passions.... working with children and fitness.  I truly enjoy working with children and inspiring them to make healthier choices in a world where that is very difficult
