Looking for Our Future Kindergarten  Students

Do you have a future kindergartner in your house? In your neighborhood?  District 126 Elementary Schools are holding pre-registration at the end of March. If you are the parent of a child who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2010, please stop by your neighborhood school on the following dates:

   March 29th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Stony Creek Elementary

   March 30th from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Hazelgreen Elementary 

   March 31st from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Lane Elementary  

Please bring your child's official birth certificate, proof of residency and a photo id if you have one. Please share this information with your neighbors! Pre-registration helps us plan for our newest Hazelgreen Hornets, Lane Lions and Stony Creek Stars!

Scholarships Available

Prairie Hawks Class of 2006 who are current high school seniors are welcome to apply for two non-renewing scholarships offered only to PJH graduates. The Clark Alford Scholarship and the Marilyn Clemens Teacher Education Scholarship are awarded each year to Prairie alums. Applications can be found here. The application deadline for both is March 31, 2010. Good luck!
