My name is Shari Reyes and this is my 13th year teaching here at Stony Creek School. I received my Bachelors degree from Valparaiso University in Home Economics. I completed my Masters Degree in Education at Saint Xavier University.

My goals for this year include helping students achieve their highest academic potential. I hope to inspire students to find JOY in learning. I will work to promote creative and and critical thinking as well as sound reasoning. I encourage each child to have a very positive self-image while learing to respect and appreciate each other.

As your child's teacher, I will work hard to achieve these goals. Yet, I need the cooperation and help of you and your child. Fourth grade is an important year as the students continue in the upper elementary grades. your child will become more autonomous than ever before, yet need support and encouragement from home as well as school. Fourth grade is a time when students learn how to accept personal responsibility for their work and behavior more than ever before.
