About Me: Hello! I am Mrs. Gomez, the Bilingual ESL Resource Teacher at Lane School.  I have been a part of District 126 since 2011.  I was a Bilingual 2nd grade teacher at Lane School for 6 years, then a 2nd grade Two-Way Immersion (TWI) teacher for 5 years at Stony Creek.  I am excited to be part of the Lane School team and working with our Lane Lion students, staff, and families.  

Education:  I am endorsed in Bilingual Education and in English as a Second Language (ESL). I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Dual Language Teacher Leadership.  

My priority is to make sure that your child feels safe, loved, inclusive and capable. 

Sobre Mi: ¡Hola! Soy Mrs. Gomez, la maestra bilingüe de ESL recursos en la escuela Lane. He sido parte del distrito 126 desde el 2011. Fuí la maestra bilingüe de 2o grado en la escuela Lane por 6 años y después la maestra bilingüe de 2o grado en el programa de doble inmersion (TWI) en la escuela Stony por 5 años. Estoy emocionada de ser parte del equipo de la escuela Lane y trabajar con los estudiantes, maestros, personal y familias. 

Education:  Estoy certificada en Educación Bilingüe y también en inglés como segundo idioma (ESL).  Tengo una Maestría en la Educación Primaria y una Maestría en Líder de Maestra de Doble Inmersión (TWI).
