Welcome to my page!

Hello, My name is Elizabeth McLaughlin-Lem, I have have been teaching students with Linguistically diverse backgrounds for the last 22 years. I graduated from the University of Saint Francis with degrees in Education and Sciences.  I have taught ESL (English as a Second Language) students in Pre-K to 8th grades in our district for the last 12 years.  I enjoy working with all children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education.  I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect no matter Language, color or race.  An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world.

In our free time my husband and I enjoy being in the outdoors and helping others.  During the summer we spend our time traveling, gardening, hiking, camping, trail riding, skydiving, bungee jumping and golfing.  In the winter, we love to ski, and travel. One of my favorite hobbies is  cooking for others.
